so sad news first, I sadly did not finish one of my big costumes for this con. It was a long awaited costume, Metis from Persona3, and because of the difficulty of this costume and just last minute mistakes, it wasn't possible to finish it for metrocon. But the rest of my line ups did make it!

Friday- with 3 hours of sleep I dutifully got up at 5 to pack and left to pick up my friends and we were mostly on time with picking and packing everyone into my little car. Speed drove to tampa and we got there at 11. But sadly it took us a good hour to change so we actually got to the con at 12:30 and left shortly to go eat pho with our photog friend JT. I was dressed as kushina with a minato (too bad we actually did not hang out AT ALL with no pics as proof) and I had to quickly change out as well for a panel. At 5 I was erza scarlet with a new version, the robe of yuen for a panel and quick shoot and then at 8 I was out again into a different costume, this time as Euphie with my masquerade buddies Lien and Jose (as Sanji and Haku) for the masquerade. Masquerade was fun but kinda boring so probably not doing it again unless we hardcore go to the masquerade and sit for the show starting at the beginning. We left after 30 minutes, tried to find Rae for an interview and we didn't find him sadly So plans here started to get messy since we actually split up with Bri, Dani and Kat, the other half of our posse. Originally planned we were going to change out into swimming anime and have a pool party with both the guys and girls but this didn't happen since we found nobody! So when me and Lien were at the masquerade, rbi went out to eat with Dani and Kat and when we got back to the hotel we thought they had already changed and were at the pool So we changed out of masquerade stuff, into swimming anime and actually went to the pool where we swam when we got back out, they came back and wanted to go in swimming anime to the con. We ended up backing out since it was REALLY cold strangely. Instead, I went with Lien's roomies, Chalisa, Jose, and Nick, and to taco bus we go!! we had really yummy food and got back at 1 pm where we proceeded to just die back at hotel room.

Saturday- Me and Jose got up super early to start getting ready and we left first to go meet up with his type 0 group and get food. I split with them around 10 to go meet rbi and her friend Giselle for a dangan ronpa shoot. Since metis was not done, I ran around not in persona3 but persona4 yukiko and played photographer/handler-chan all saturday. Finally got around to practicing my photography again and I helped shoot some pictures at the mass dangan ronpa gathering as well as a small mini shoot for Bri and Giselle. Around midday Bri switched out into her Aigis costume and in all honesty I am really happy that I did not finish metis actually. This costume though comfortable was very hard on the body after a half day. Bri could not walk too well a few days after and I had to hold everything and make sure she was hydrated, balanced, and not overheated. *now super worried for otakon since no handler and I'll also be in costume* but it went pretty smoothly, we got stopped lots because rbi was just kick-ass and a hotty in her costume and even I got lots of pics since persona4 is kinda underground popular the shoot went well but was fast sadly since underground popular means not too many people cosplayed from it. But we got nice pictures and after the shoot we met up with francisco for rbi's persona3 shoot with dani and jose. Lynnie met up with us in her Free! genderbend costume and waited with me for the persona shoot to end and then around 8-9 we headed back to change out into Free! costumes!! Once in comfy costumes, my hotel roomies and Dani's all headed to Pizza Pazza where they served really fantastic pizza in slices with good atmosphere. After yummy pizza we went back to the con and derped around as gender bend Free! group! and omg i mean REALLY derp. Vincent taught Dani how to strip sexily and quickly, just the shirt so they had a shirt stripping contest. Then we attempted to sexy strip out into our swim suits for the camera and it was HILARIOUS because Dani dropped her shorts into her bikini bottom and as she did that, a con security guy walked past and he came up to us and we were like "whelp in trouble!" but he came up and told me "hey, you lost your shoes, you need them on at all time…" YEA GOT IN TROUBLE NEXT TO STRIPPING GIRL BECAUSE I HAD NO SHOES! hilariousFFFFF we left around 1 pm and hurried back to the room to finish sweatshopping Bri's suzaku costume. <3 goes to Dani, Kat, Lien, and Miya for helping us finish and also to Lien's hotel roomies for letting us use their room!! We finished, got back to our own room around 5 in the morning and another funny story. During our sweatshop, Lee (photog in Dani's room) told us there was a creepy guy around the hotel following people back to their rooms, a ginger with green shirt and plaid pants and the guy followed Lee from the lobby to the 16th floor back to his room. So when it was 5 am, we were like the guy is probably gone, no point in waking everybody to come walk us back, and we split at the elevators. Me, Bri, and Vincent were going down when 2 people came into the elevator and HOLY SHIT one of them was that GUY!! he came up to me and just stroked my wig and mumbled! SCARIEST SHIT EVER! thank god the other guy was escorting him down to the lobby and kept him away for the rest of the ride. 

Sunday- my precious baby day. After a few months of work, I debuted Euphemia with my Suzaku at Metrocon. We spent the entire morning in line for the costume contest but it was still a good time since we manage to catch up with our friends Ashley and Alex, who did amazing Jack Frost costumes (they were the sand man and this tall dark guy that I don't know the name of). Me and rbi got cheated out of prejudging since we got only 2 minutes to explain our elaborate costumes though other groups of the same or bigger size go so much more time than us. Though one of the judges did give us the best compliment of life which was "you would've made CLAMP proud" After prejudging, we didn't do much except find friends, hung out and talked about the unfairness of the contest with another contendee, Hotjam cosplay, took pics with a bunch of little kids who thought I was a princess (poor rbi, Prince Phillip was never loved) die of no food and heat, and bought stuff. I got stopped quite a bit which made me happy since I worked so hard on this costume. At 2 we went to the costume contest! Hung out with Kendall, Alex, and Ashley back stage before we were seated and thus began the contest! Me and rbi did pretty good, our walk on caused quite a ferocious stir in the audience as we tried our best to be royal on stage with no tripping. Still a classic, I got stuck on the steps as I do every contest I do but still managed to get on^^" We didn't win but christ it was exciting and not everyone can say "I walked through the infamous circle at metrocon at my first metrocon". After the contest, we hung out more with our friends, played a fun game of hitting this balloon and then scurrying to the dealers room to buy last minute things. Alas all good things have to end and me and rbi changed in our hotel bathroom since the guys checked out for us. Then we went as Team Teemo out to eat at wendy's (JT, Lee, Kat, Dani, Vincent, Matthew, Bri, and me) After a long goodbye, we headed back to Orlando getting home at 11 x.x I WAS SO DEAD AFTER THAT!

yep, Metrocon was hell lot of fun, met so many new friends, debuted all new costumes, and hung out with best friends everywhere<3 can't wait for ota now!! <3

to sum it up megacon was period con as in MC time con x.x it was fun but just so freakin hectic!

Friday- we got to the con late, the estimated arrival time of around 10-11 was dragged to 1 pm because we kept on forgetting things! we left and basically backtracked to going back home to grab things O.o REALLY BAD..and it really didn't help that half of us didn't sleep the night before. Designated driver for half of the group, me, was on no hours of sleep since i was up the night before trying to finish a bunch of swords that ended up not getting finished after all. Someone in some car was sewing buttons for me and god this really shouldn't happen again. We got to the con, had a picnic with half the people we invited since the other half didn't show up yet, and proceeded to have a fun but really hot and messy photoshoot for Sword Art Online:T the food was good tho and canon since I actually made the food actually IN the anime and after the shoot where we really got minimum pictures since midday shoot means lots of overexposed and thus unusable pictures with half finished costumes on half of us OTL we decided to check into the hotel and change out. Funny story, me and tiff (who rode in my car) actually LOST THE CAR…so we parked at the "free" parking at the con center but it turns out that there are actually 2 orange county convention centers!! the old one offers free parking and we didn't even notice because after we had initially parked, a nice man who drives buses for the con centers gave us a free ride in exchange for pictures and a video^^" we wandered for a good 1-2 hours, walked the length of the boulevard and the con center 3-4 times before finding the car. We sped to the hotel and changed out into Madoka Magica. Me and rbi had planned to have a small shoot with our friend Park who was cosplaying godoka, and when we got to the con center, turns out she had just left to go eat, and since rbi's sock just would not keep up and we had to fix it every few steps, we left (just as park came back) to change out into Persona4. When we got back to the con, I'm pretty sure it was 10-11 at night maybe, we found our friends who were suppose to meet us, said hi, then they left to go eat at around 11-12 we ended up going to eat too at our regular place every year at megacon we make it a point to go to eat at johnny rockets and of course this year was no exception. It was awesome because someone actually asked to take me and rbi's picture  yukiko and chie are kinda normal day outfit costumes and this girl was not part of the con so getting a picture shot like this was a bit special After eating, we went back to the room and pooped out

Saturday- it was a day of not meeting any schedules! so initially we had to go to a shoot at 11 for adventure time. Yea…makeup and hair didn't allow us to leave until 1 pm!! the rest of our roomies went on ahead but it took super long for me and rbi to get ready with me being the problem x.x We got up at 8 and started to get ready. While rbi showered, i finished her costume and proceeded to get into mine. After getting costumes one, the funnest part, doing the makeup and hair. We did the normal part of wig caps and such, and then came the fun part, making me bald so its our first time doing prosthetics and god we are not pros at this. We ran out of spirit gum and ended up relying more on using the latex to stick the cap to my head. At some point, one side ripped off and my hair was showing but i was like screw it its almost 12 just paint the latex on! Once it was finally on, we glued on my mohawk made me orange and finish doing regular face makeup. It was 1 when we left, there was fun times trying to sit in the traffic and we got to the con at 2. Me and rbi wandered more by ourselves that day since we couldn't find anybody initially, but we met up with vincent and did lots of adventure time shenanigans. And ALL DAY, I WAS THE SECOND FLAME PRINCESS!! we will walk up and down the halls, and nope i am not a prince, i was another version of flame princess apparently?! whelp not manly in the least OTL. BEST THING THO! was the only flame prince there, i have never been the single cosplay of anything and i thought i was pretty good We got a mini private shoot from our friend Miyazaki Fan, derped around lots, went to a huge adventure time shoot, got lots of photos taken by passerbys but eventually this had to end because this costume was killing me OTL. We changed out, I got into Fai and we went to the Peabody hotel for a supposed pool party that did not happen but ended up getting nice pictures at the hotel and another funny story! We got in trouble!! so when rbi was shooting my fai, i climbed into many fountains to get nice pictures with the cool changing lights. We asked to get in the giant waterfall fountain at the front and the guy was like okay. SO i climbed up there, a good 6-10 feet perhaps, posed and after a single shot, the guy was walking over saying NO GET OFF! YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE UP THERE! he probably did not understand the meaning of get IN the fountain but i had to get out. AND THE SADDEST PART, my eyes were closed but they were opened in the practice shot…yep we got in trouble for NOTHING!!

It was 1-2 when we got back to the hotel and we just pooped out again

Sunday- sunday morning we quickly got into costume doing lady avengers! and then we super cleaned the hotel room meaning we cleared all our garbage, folded back all the blankets and wiped the counters because we take leaving a nice clean room VERY seriously after getting all packed up in the car, we left for the con. I met up with two other girls in our avengers group and really all day we just walked around, got pictures taken, bought stuff, and took lots of picturesD it was really chill and we actually didn't do too badly with the kids doing REAL avengers^^" Best part of sunday had to be the cici's pizza run we met up with Dani and her group and took 2 cars to cici's and during the splitting up part, it became a contest on who got to cici's first. I rode in Kat's car with tiff, lee, and dani and omg we sped to cici's and YES got there first! We had a really yummy lunch with lots of bonding time chatting about band, cosplay, and the correct ways of hitting a triangle. Then it was race back to the con! and sadly we lost BECAUSE THE OTHER CAR CUT US OFF!! oh yea, we also screamed the entire time driving back! FFFF we are silly kids. But we had to say goodbye to our friends after that since they were leaving. I changed YET AGAIN! after this into Fai again to try to catch Vic M. to sign my staff and HOLY SHIT MISSED HIM AGAIN! this was the 3rd time I've done this and yep, MISSED 3 TIMES! I'm kinda giving up now…we derped around the con tho with Miya and Jose, tried to get some nice pictures of Fai again and we left around 5-6 to go home.

SUM THO = PERIOD (MC kind) CON! i believe we missed EVERY appointment we had, was late to everything but not too horribly as our other friends, and just missed all the people we had to meet up with by a little

Im gonna call this the "I <3 Lynnie" con because I seriously owe it to lynnie for making this con good. Me and Bri went 1 day, saturday to try and sell bows and yep, of course no one has money and we sold 1 bow, to lien<3 but we kinda just wandered this one hallway con, hung in the lobby, and ate food. It was funny when we got there tho since we walked in as hobos but came out as fully clothed samuraiD And while we were changing in the bathroom, this woman came up to us saying that she hoped we can help her in the future with her acting troupe's medieval film and gave us business cards and stuff. It was cool that we could get possible jobs like this. After we were dressed, we waited for lien and then did a photoshoot! It was really cool and we got some really amazing shots that kinda fit with our samurai champloo theme tho it was at a super tourist hotel^^" with gators…Eventually we had to leave and we left around 5. ANOTHER BEST PART! I stood next to the person who won the costume contest that had the ultimate prize of paid ticket to Anime Expo, and they almost whacked me in the head with their gundam costume on accidentD

yes i fangirled over that costume cause it was so clean cut and beautifully constructed!

it was 2 days and yay we went to both.

Saturday- super short day since I had lots of other commitments to my brand new job! but we still dressed up, got lost at UCF where the con was held, and were able to go there for 2 hours to wander and get pictures. I was judal from Magi, rbi was kirigiri from dangan ronpa and my sister's first time in costume was as misa from death note. We actually got lots of pics from people though almost no one knew who we were. We mainly scouted the dealers room and artist alley since we were planning to buy stuff on sunday and visited Dani and Kat at their booth. We left REALLY early tho to get to another event.

Sunday- best day ever! so a story to lead up to sunday, back in november me and rbi learned of **SPOILER** neji's death. He was a baby cakes and part of a long childhood of naruto, past weebdom, and our friendship so his death was a really sad time. So basically we found out maybe thursday, Friday we went fabric shopping, Saturday sweatshop, and holy shit sunday Bri finished Sai costume and I finished Neji and Kushina costume..yep it was THAT bad. But we didn't get to wear these costumes until sunday at knightro and this is how that went down. Tiff, our naruto, had to come get us because wearing blind contacts meant no driving for me. She got us, we got to UCF without getting lost and just hung around and goofed off. So many people got scared by me because of my contacts! ^^" we actually spent this entire con playing DDR. not even kidding, we DDR, had bricam time, and bought things, thats kinda it After our tsunade (aka lynnie) got there we had a short mini shoot with Big T before it started to rain and we skitdaddled to go eat at tiff's work place, which ironically was Sus-hi, a ninja themed japanese chipotle. We ate, shot a video to thank Jin senpai for inspiring us, and when we left, a black woman pulled up in her car to tell us we looked like cool people from outer space, that my sister's hinata headband was pretty and that i was SCURY!! all in all it was just super fun to live out the childhood dream<3

a really fun shoot that took lots of planning but was full of shenanigans So for this shoot, it was the first BIG shoot that I went to meaning we got photographers, drove out kinda far, and went to a real shoot place. But we set out super early, I got picked up around 8 and we picked up Jose before rushing out on a 2-3 hour drive to West Palm Beach. We got to our friend chalisa's house around 11 and everyone got dressed before we went to the Japanese Gardens. We met up with the photog and the photoshoot began. It was just super hot and while most of us were okay, our Hakuryuu and Kougyoku just died, they intermittently joined us for the shoot since they had to keep going back inside to cool off from the heat. Brocade in Florida heat is NOT OKAY. Everyone had some problem, for the rich kids it was the heat, for aladdin troop it was the wearing white while sitting in dirt and such and for me it was movement with my big balls for hair and tight brocade costume. We did manage to get REALLY amazing shots and not really too much to tell since it was just regular shoot times. The Magi did get lots of popularity with insects but sadly not butterflies but rather mosquitos! only me and Lien got bit!!DD: and to avoid mosquitos i was playing in the water and the funniest part, one of my hair balls fell out and just casually floats down the stream!! precious aladdin baby retrieved it for me and there was a turtle-chan in the water as well After the shoot, we went back to the house, got half out of cosplay to go eat at a yummy chinese buffet then jose graciously took the night drive and drove us home. Got back at 11 at night

so another shoot thing that I got to participate in before Metrocon was for my friend Jenn. She had a photo/film project for school and wanted to do one on cosplay. I was super happy when she asked me and rbi to help her with this project and so she came over a week before metrocon to sleepover at my house and we did a shoot the next day She came by Friday after I got off work, we did my interview then she ran around my house with me to film me "doing" cosplay things like sewing and working with armor Then Saturday, we did the same thing but a bit shorter since we had a shoot same day, at rbi's house. After that we drove out to Rollin's College and did the shoot. Honest to god this was the most ON TIME thing we ever did! We planned out a schedule on Friday night and holy crap we followed it to the TEE! We started off in college park and did the official persona4 shoot for chie and yukiko! FINALLY WE GOT PRO PICS OF THESE CHARACTERS. All the people just hanging around there that day, and there were lots, were just super amused!! we threw hair did canon shot, jenn was in every photog pose except standing up and we really did look like pro crazy people After a good 2-3 hours of this, we changed out in the winter park library into elizabeth from bioshock and erza from fairy tail. Oh yea, its not weird walking out of a library like this at all. We went to rollins and got lots of beautiful pics and film for rbi's elizabeth while i helped since no prop for erza sadly so no poses^^" It was starting to get dark and stormy so I changed into Euphemia for a few quick shoots and the funniest thing. Just as I was changing, the church on campus let out and a wedding party just finished a ceremony and was leaving the college. This happened as i was changing in my car into Euphie so as people were leaving and I was making my way back to Jenn and Bri, all i heard was "oh look theres another bride" and these old women came and talked to me about how I missed the wedding ^^" And as we were shooting my Euphie, the REAL bride and groom was around doing wedding photos, it was just really funny since we were using the same location and switched in and out with them taking pictures. We left around 5 to rush back home so Jenn could get picked up and we went out to dinner at 7 with Dani and Sarah. Fun day and just lots of beautiful shots!!
